Albert Ackerman

Suddenly on January 23, 2021 age 60 of West Homestead.  Bert was the beloved husband of Jannine (Sparico) Ackerman.  He was born in Pittsburgh the son of Dr. John and Janet (Crytzer) Ackerman.  Loving son in law of Patricia and the late Antonio Sparico.  Cherished brother of Tim (Sally) Ackerman and the late John Ackerman.  Special uncle to Megan Sparico, A.J. (Amanda) Sparico, Tracy Johnson, Natalie Sparico and Annalee Sparico.  Bert was the owner of Ackerman Tree Service in West Homestead for over 35 years.  Family and friends received on Thursday from 3 – 8PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Celebration of Life Service will be held following the visitation.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com  In lieu of the flowers the family request memorial contributions be made in Bert’s name to Animal Lifeline Pittsburgh, 139 East 8th Avenue, Homestead, PA  15120, animallifelinepgh.org
