Alice Marlane Takacs

ALICE MARLANE (NAGY) TAKACS- On January 29, 2024, Alice, age 76 of Hays (Pittsburgh, PA), after a decade-long battle with fronto-temporal dementia, passed away peacefully at Whitehall Borough Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center with family by her side. Born on Oct. 2, 1947 in Clairton, she is survived by her beloved husband, James Takacs of Hays and brother, David Nagy of Hollywood, FL. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents, the late George and Olga (Mark) Nagy and brother, Dennis Nagy (Sheila), all of Clairton. Alice earned an Associate Degree in Science from the Community College of Allegheny County. After many years at Bell Telephone, she retired to enjoy cooking, baking and many trips to Florida to enjoy the beaches and deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. No services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by George Irvin Green Funeral Home of Munhall, PA. . Burial at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday, February 6 at 10:00 AM, where a blessing service will be held in the chapel. There will be no viewing and burial will be private.
