Anna Mae Gorman Lindberg
On Monday September 15, 2014 age 98 lifelong resident of Munhall and Homestead. A member of the 1932 United States Olympic Team in Los Angeles, CA. at age 16.  Anna Mae is one of many outstanding  Olympic swimmers who graced the swimming pool in the athletic wing of the  Carnegie Library of Homestead.  In the 1970’s, the Univ. of Pittsburgh made it affordable for employees to attend classes. She pursued a degree in social work and graduated on her 60th birthday “that was bigger than the Olympics”.
Beloved wife of the late David Russell  Lindberg.  Loving mother of Lauren (Dino)  Patton, Mother –In-Law of Linda Waugaman and the late David Russell Jr. and Johanna Lindberg. Sister of the late Johanna, William and John  Gorman; Grandmother of Lisa (Eric) Davis, Matt Waugaman and the late Jason Lindberg; also survived by several nieces ,nephews, 5 great grandchildren and special friend Ellen Eberhardt.

Friends received at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street Munhall 412-461-6394 on Friday from 10:00 A.M. till time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. in St Therese of Lisieux R.C.
