Barbara E. Thomas

Barbara Thomas, 91, of West Mifflin, PA passed away on March 22, 2022.

Born in Duquesne, the daughter of the late Frank Gruber and Marie (Denne).

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Carl I. Thomas Sr.; her loving children Bonnie Thomas of Glassport, Lynn (David) Schwab of West Mifflin, Donna (Tim) Gardner of West Mifflin and daughter-in-law Sharon (Bill) Crissman; her cherished grandchildren Charlie (Christy), Amanda (David), Bradley (Sarah), Sarah (Lenny), Rachel (Eddie), Brandon (Jena), Elliot and Tanner; as well as her great-grandchildren Dylan, Tessa, Kendall, EJ and Cole; and her dear sister Catherine (late James) Williams.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son Carl Thomas Jr. and siblings Clara (late Ed) Smith, Armella (late Jasper) Salvo, and John (late Martha) Gruber.

Barbara was a longtime hairdresser for Dolly Allen Beauty Shop and a member of Resurrection Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and love her.

Friends will be received on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM & Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412.461.6394). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostles Parish, Resurrection Church. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
