Bert Alan Fink

Bert  A. Fink age 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen their daughter, Sara, and his Corgi boys, Teegan and Max. He was the son of Bernard (Barb) and the late Nancy. Bert was the eldest sibling of his sister, Debra (Kirk), and his brother, Jay (Patty). He was also a beloved uncle to his nieces Erin, Lauren, Isabell, Ashley, and nephew Hayden, with additional great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bert proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard after graduating from Rochester High School. He went on to earn a BA and master's degree in Audiology. Not one to spend time in an office, he found his calling as a Letter Carrier with the USPS in the Oakmont community. He loved the outdoors and nature, always looking forward to feeding his herd of deer in the winter. His favorite pastimes included fishing, boating, and maintaining his yard at the home he built in Indiana Township. His recent retirement sparked a new passion: restoring and driving his vintage Alfa Romeo.

Bert held a strong belief in God, trusting that his faith would one day reunite him with his mother and other loved ones when he was called home. A celebration of life for family and friends will be announced soon. In Bert's memory, please perform a kind deed for family, friends, neighbors, or even a complete stranger. Lord knows we need more kindness in this world.
