Betty L Kondis

Betty Laverne (Furst) Kondis, age 97, passed away on March 3, 2022.

Betty was born in McKeesport, PA; a daughter of the late Carl Furst and Blanche (Shaw). Beloved wife of the late Julius L. Kondis.

Loving mother of Charles (Suzan) Kondis and Marilyn Kondis; cherished grandmother of Jonathan Kondis and the late David Kondis; dear sister of Eugene (Betty) Kondis; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty enjoyed bowling, playing cards, especially Bridge and taking bus trips. She will be fondly missed by her precious feline companions whom she adopted.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Homestead Park United Methodist Church, PLEASE MEET IN CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Betty's memory to the Salvation Army or the Animal Rescue League.
