BettyAnn Brancato

BettyAnn "Blondie" Brancato, age 85, peacefully passed away in her home in Barnegat, NJ on June 28th, 2025. She was born in Hazlewood, Pa on February 7th, 1941, to Helen "Betty" Besnak and Niles R. Smith. BettyAnn was a beloved figure in her family, known for her fierce love & loyalty. She loved The Lord and loved being immersed in nature, having compassion for all of God's creatures, especially her German Shepherds. Later in life, she moved to NJ where she embraced the natural beauty of the ocean & made many friends.

BettyAnn was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother & great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Scott) Brecht; her sisters Gloria (Rick) Horn & Susan Smith; and brother John (Sandra) Peretin. Her legacy continues through her grandsons Matthew (Alyson), Joshua & Daniel Domiano; and her great-grandson, Levi. BettyAnn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she considered her family. She was preceded in death by her sons Vince & Marc Domiano; and her brothers Robert & James (Smitty) Smith, and her little sister Gloria.

A Memorial/Celebration of her Life will be organized for the near future, where loved ones can gather to share stories & honor her memory.
