Carl I. Thomas

On Sunday, May 12, 2024 Carl I. Thomas, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  He was born in West Mifflin, son of the late Charles and Anna (Reese) Thomas.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara E. Gruber Thomas.  Loving father of Bonnie Thomas, Lynn (David) Schwab, Donna (Tim) Gardner, and the late Carl I. Thomas Jr, father-in-law of Sharon (Bill) Crissman. Cherished grandfather of Charles (Christy Heller) Schwab, Bradley (Sarah) Schwab, Amanda (David) Pinkosky, Sarah (Lenny) Minnick, Rachel (Eddie) Cunko, Brandon (Jena Bence) Gardner, Elliot Gardner, and Tanner Gardner.  Special great-grandfather of Dylan, Tessa, Kendall, Cole, E.J., and Brixton.  Preceded in death by his siblings Ralph Thomas, Jean Lee, Shirley Balint and Elva Genes.  Carl also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great neighbors.  He was a longtime member of Homeville Christian Church, loved hunting and gardening but most of all spending time with his family which meant the most to him.
