Carol Ann Monzo

Carol Ann Monzo, age 83, of Lincoln Place died peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022. 

Born in Hays; Carol Ann was the daughter of the late Caroline (Tapolcai) and John F. Monzo. She was the beloved sister of John "Jack" (Mary Lou) F. Monzo, Jr.; cherished aunt of Lisa (Jim) Stricklin, Eric (Dana) Monzo, and Dana (Jeff) Esper; and great-aunt of Benjamin, Melina, Luca, Nicholas, Chase, Gabrielle, Caroline, and Michael.

A career woman from a young age, Carol worked in the corporate office at Kaufmann’s Department Store.  She finished her career with Giant Eagle in the hot foods section serving up food and drinks to her many friends in the community, always with a smile on her face

She was a long-time member of Holy Angels Church in Hays.  She was devoted to her faith, rarely missing a Sunday Mass.  She loved her pets and visiting her New Jersey family, especially down at the shore.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 2 PM - 4 PM & 6 PM - 8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412.461.6394). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
