Carole Ann O'Leska

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our mother, Carole Ann (Reis) O’Leska. She was the cornerstone of our family, a source of endless love and strength. Carole left this world peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 21, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carole attended Clairton High and Pennsylvania College for Women.

Carole was a dedicated individual whose life was marked by her unwavering commitment to family, service, and her work with the federal government. Her dedication continued as she brought her talents to the roles of Training Officer and Personnel Officer at the Department of the Treasury, contributing many years serving the United States Government. Though she achieved anything she set her mind to, her greatest achievement was being a mother to Denise and Joseph.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Denise L. O'Leska, and her devoted son, Joseph D. O'Leska Jr. (Heidi). Carole is also remembered by her brother, C. Dale Reis (Kathy), her nieces, Christine Kalnas (Ron) and Megan King (Mike), and her nephew, Thomas Bekavac, all of whom cherished their time with her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Dale Reis and Ida (Wolf) Reis, her husband Joseph D. O’Leska Sr., and her sisters Joan Marilyn Bekavac and Judith Elaine Butler.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service to be held in honor of Carole on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will take place at the Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum, located at 2701 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122.
