Catherine (Perichak) Melicherik, 97, of West Mifflin, on December 23, 2012. Beloved wife of the (late) Charles, loving mother of Sue (Cyril) Zapf of West Mifflin  and Doris (Steve) Sweeney of Evansville, IN. Sister to Barbara Perin of GA. and the late Mary Perichak, Molly Horvath, Helen Harvilla and Dorothy Perichak. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Zapf, Eric Zapf, Sheri (Micky) Jellison and the late Jeff Zapf. Great grandmother of Natalie and Austin Jellison, also nieces and nephews. Friends received on Friday 2-4 and 6-9 PM at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main St. - Munhall 412-461-6394. Mass of Christian burial will be in Resurrection R.C. Church on Saturday at 10 AM.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steel Valley Salvation Army.
