Charlene Pearson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, at Jefferson Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 13, 1938, in Homestead, Pennsylvania, and spent her life dedicated to her career and family.

Charlene is survived by her son, Earl R. Pearson (Brenda), daughter, Jennifer Cathell (Gerald), and son, Eric J. Pearson (Carla Richards). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Phillip McNeish, Nathan Cathell, Adam Cathell, Earl Pearson, and Chelsea Pearson, along with numerous nieces and nephews who remember her with affection.

Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Earl H. Pearson Jr., her father Harold C. Reed Sr., her mother Cecelia B. (Cummins) Reed, her grandmother Cecelia B. Cunningham, and her brother Harold "Bud" Reed.

Charlene enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Sales Associate at J.C. Penney, where she built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Her warm demeanor and dedication to her work made her a beloved figure in the community. Charlene’s commitment to her family and community remained a defining element of her life. She was a long-time member of the Anne Ashley Community Church, where she found joy in her faith and fellowship with others.

Charlene Pearson will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kindness towards others, and her contributions to her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
