Charles B. Ryan

Charles B. Ryan “Chuck” age 77, of West Mifflin, died March 3, 2023 with his wife Diana by his side.    Born August 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Alice (McCoy) and Thomas Ryan of Pittsburgh. 

Chuck was retired from The Port Authority and served in the U.S.Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Independence. Chuck had a great sense of humor and always was a positive person, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife Diana (Strunk) Ryan and his children Charles Ryan (Tracy) of Evansville, IN,  Jennifer Daily (James) of Evansville, IN, Christopher Ryan (Laura) of Orlando, FL, Rachel Ryan and his step-children Joseph Tobasco (Lori) of Elizabeth, PA and Leo Tobasco (Luisa) of Mechanicsburg, PA.  Chuck is also survived by his siblings, Tom Ryan (Beth) of Celina, OH, Pat Weyman (Stan) of Espyville, PA, Maureen Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA and John Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA as well as his numerous grandchildren, Lauren Ryan, Drew Ryan, Abby Ryan, Coleman Daily, Seth Daily, Kendra Daily, Ella Daily, Ethan Daily, Jack Ryan, Emily Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Kylie Tobasco, Priscilla Forry, Leo V. Tobasco, Damiano Tobasco and Martino Tobasco.  Great-grandchildren Stetson Daily, Hunter Daily, Isabella Forry and Milania Forry. In addition to his parents, Chuck was proceeded in death by his step-son Christopher Tobasco.   

The family would like to thank Grandview Estates of Elizabeth and Suncrest Hospice for their wonderful care, kindness and immense compassion during Chuck’s final days.  

Family and friends will be received at George Irvin Green Funeral Home 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA, on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 4 - 6 PM.  A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 10 AM with Deacon Daniel D'Antonio officiating.
