Cyril Zapf

Cyril (Cy) Zapf, age 86, of West Mifflin passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025.

Cy was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Koto) Zapf. Cy was preceded in death by his loving wife Suzanne (Melicherik) and sons Eric and Jeffrey. He is survived by his children Christopher, Sheri (Micky) Jellison and his loving grandchildren, Natalie and Austin Jellison. Cy is also survived by siblings sister Audrey Brusina and brothers Len (Patti), Jerry (Mary Ann) and Wesley (Janeen) and Sister in law, Doris Sweeney.

Cy was a lifelong resident of West Mifflin and a retired mail carrier and Army veteran.

In his retirement years his hobbies included enjoying the outdoors gardening and also feeding birds and deer. He also enjoyed following the Pittsburgh sports teams.

There will be no visitation or services per his request. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., in Munhall.
