Daniel was born in Munhall the son of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Sheffel) Pinkerton;

Dan was a retired steelworker and a U. S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War;

Beloved father of Tracey (Joe) Pawlowski, Patricia (John) DiGiannurio, Lindsay (Alessandro) Presot and David Pinkerton;

Grandfather of Jacquelyn, Aidan and Anthony DiGiannurio, Nicole and Joseph Pawlowski and Lincoln Presot;

Brother of Paul Pinkerton;
