David Martin Pratt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Martin Pratt, who left us on April 19, 2025. Born on August 23, 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA, Dave was a lifelong Pittsburgher who poured his heart and soul into everything he did. He was a skilled welder and took pride in his work.

Dave was known for his love of the outdoors, whether it was hitting the golf course or simply hanging out in the backyard with friends and family. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and could often be found cheering them on during hockey season.

He is survived by his loving siblings, sister Kathleen (Kate) Hassel, brother Kenneth Pratt and sister Carol Hill. He held a special place in his heart for his nephews, Daniel Hassel, Cody Hill, and Casey Hill, as well as his great nephew Colton who loved his Uncle Dave. Dave was a big kid at heart and all kids loved him for that. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Bubby, who was always by his side. Dave is predeceased by his loving parents Walter and Celine (Dougherty) Pratt.

Rest in peace, Dave. You will be missed, but your spirit will live on in every putt made on the golf course, every Penguins goal celebrated, and every moment shared under the stars in the backyard.

Services are entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main St., Munhall, and will be announced at a later date.
