Deborah Ann (Keller) Yanowich, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, found solace in the arms of her Savior on Thursday, April 17, after a fast and courageous fight with cancer.
In 1953, Debbie was born to the late William and Marian (Wycich) Keller, who instilled in her the importance of family and faith.
Debbie was the heart of the family that she built with her surviving soulmate, Raymond. Their 51-year marriage was an amazing testament that unwavering love, commitment, and support for one another brings an abundance of joy and the ability to overcome any challenge.
There was nothing that brought more happiness to Debbie than being a dedicated grandma to “her 4 boys,” Ethan Bowden, Aaron Bowden, John (J.R.) Susan, and Brady Susan. She was always present, celebrated each of their milestones and accomplishments, and truly treasured their talks and time spent together.
The love, guidance, and sacrifices Debbie gave will be fondly remembered by “her angels,” daughters, Tamela Rae Bowden and BethAnn Susan. Tammy and Beth aspire to embody some of Debbie's cherished characteristics, especially exuding both softness and strength, and adding a touch of spunk and sass to the mundane.
Debbie was grateful for and cherished her sons-in-law, Greg Bowden and John Susan.
Debbie’s journey on this earth brought love and light to her siblings, Darlene (Bob) Fenwick and Bill (Barb) Keller, her nephews and nieces, and many friends.
Debbie was a devoted member of Homeville Christian Church and attended with her family even before the current building was established in 1968.
Debbie had a strong work ethic; she was a respected colleague for more than two decades at Jefferson Hospital. Debbie retired in 2018 and has many wonderful friends from her time there.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 21, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 where a Christian Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 12:30 PM with Pastor Shaun Mitchell officiating. Burial is to follow. Please leave your memories and condolences at www.georgeigreenfuneralhome.com.
