Diane Kean

Age 91, originally from Vietnam but adopted Pittsburgh as her home since 1975, went home to be with our lord and savior Jesus Christ, on October 12th, 2018. Beloved wife of Dan Kean, deceased (2014); loving mother of Jacqueline Kean, Van Kean (Andrea Ho-Kean), Lilan Tarasovic (David Tarasovic), Trami Kean (Mark Izadbakhsh); proud grandmother of Charles and Claire Tarasovic, Alex and Tia Kean,  Ariana and Kiana Izadbakhsh.  Also survived by many loving friends and relatives in France and Vietnam.  Diane was a loving mom of  “Sparky” (Pekinese), who has been a loyal friend and companion to Diane for the last 3.5 years.

Friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday October 16th from 10-11a.m at George Irvin Green Funeral Home at 3511 Main Street; Munhall, PA 15120.

Immediately following to the final farewell to Diane, the family will proceed to Homewood Cemetery Chapel for a Christian Service.  The burial will take place in this cemetery after the family gives special thanks for Diane’s beautiful life and legacy.

Diane spent many hours in her beautiful garden in squirrel hill and had a love of life she shared with all she met throughout her life. Her favorite saying was “Be Happy Honey”.  She was in the first class to obtain licensed pharmacy degree in Saigon, Vietnam.
