Diane "Dee Dee" Jean Mihaly

Diane "Dee Dee" Jean Mihaly, born in Braddock, PA on April 16, 1955, passed away peacefully in Jamestown, NY on November 11, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that touched the lives of many.

Throughout her career as a secretary, Diane exemplified professionalism and grace in all her endeavors. In addition to her professional achievements, she embraced her role as a Band-Mom at Carrick High School, where her support and encouragement left a lasting impression on all.

Diane had a deep love for life, evident in her passion for camping and how much she enjoyed listening to music. A  dog lover, she filled her home with warmth and companionship, often spending her days in the pursuit of these simple joys. Her ability to see the world through rose-colored glasses allowed her to find the best in everyone.

Diane cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Harmonie (Mike) Sites, and her step-son Adam (Alana) Wetmore, as well as her brothers Dennis (Linda) Mihaly, Dale (the late Tamara) Mihaly, and Daniel (Sandra) Mihaly. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and 4 cherished grandchildren who will carry her spirit forward.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, John Mihaly, her mother, Marie Mihaly, and her sister, Doreen (survived by Jason) Emerick. The loss of Diane will be felt profoundly by all who knew her, yet her memory will forever resonate in their hearts.

Friends and family recieved at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main St., Munhall, PA 15120, on December 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM with Pastor John Flower officiating. This gathering will honor Diane's remarkable life and the indelible impact she made on those around her. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Diane's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
