Donna M. Beam (Marraccini)

Donna Marie Beam passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27 with family by her side. She was born December 29, 1935 in Hays, PA to the late Louis and Cecilia Marraccini. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Beam, and sons Wayne Fite and Jeffrey Louis Fite. She is survived by her son, Jack (Grace) Fite of Munhall, siblings Patricia O’Brien and Judy Fonzi of Munhall, and Louis (Linda) Marraccini of Ohio. She was the doting Nuni (grandmother) to Sara (Tom Grindel) Fite, Justin (Kennedy Figas) Fite, and Jeffrey Paul (Cindy) Fite. Adoring great-grandmother to Alyse and Cooper Phares, Jackson Fite and Jeffrey Thomas Fite. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. To know Donna was to love her. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved to be surrounded by people. Her 40+ year career at Southside Hospital and owner of the Brownsville Inn (Carrick) and Julie’s Restaurant in Brentwood were some of the most treasured times in her life. Donna loved to cook and had many wonderful memories of being in the kitchen cooking up a storm while surrounded by her family and friends. Upon their retirement, she and her husband, Russ, shared many happy years together in their mountain cottage by the stream in Ligonier, PA. She had a way with words and will be remembered for her vivid stories and recollections from the past. More than anything, Donna loved her family and lived her life to see them happy. She was everyone’s biggest supporter, celebrator and #1 fan.

Family and friends received Thursday, May 1, from 6-8 PM and Friday, May 2, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main St, Munhall 15120, (412-461-6394); where a Blessing Service will take place the following morning, Saturday, May 3, at 11 AM.
