Donna Sutton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Donna, who was born in Pittsburgh on June 25th, 1941, and passed away on April 11th, 2026. She was the heart of our family, a source of unconditional love, strength, and comfort to everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Edward R. Sutton.

Donna had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Whether it was through her kind words, her laughter, or the way she always put others before herself, she left a lasting impact on so many lives. She taught us what it means to love deeply, to stay strong through difficult times, and to always show kindness to others.

She was especially loved by her children, Tamara (Keith) and Robert (Karla), who will forever carry her love and memory with them.

She also held a special place in her heart for her family, including her niece Victoria Stepanik (Andrew), and her extended in-laws Edward Burley (Kathy, as well as their son Adam), all of whom loved her dearly.

She especially cherished her role as a grandmother. She deeply loved her grandchildren—Meryssa, Leeland, Amanda, Rori Lynn, and Alli Lynn—and her great-grandchildren, Logan and Corinne. They were truly the light of her life. She also embraced many additional children as her own, proudly taking on the role of “grandmother” to anyone who needed her love and guidance.

She was more than just a mother—she was our best friend, our guide, and our biggest supporter. The memories we shared with her will forever be cherished and carried with us every day.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to live on through all of us. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends received at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 on Thursday, April 16, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels R.C. Church, 408 Baldwin Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15207, at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wreaths Across America in honor of her name, Donna J. Sutton.
