Douglas J. Sacco

Douglas J. Sacco, age 52, of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Formerly of Pleasant Hills, Doug  was born in Pittsburgh to late parents Emil and Virginia (Stewart) Sacco on May 19, 1970. Doug leaves behind two beloved sisters, Jo Sacco & Lisa (Kurtis) King, and two brothers, Thomas & Robert Sacco. Doug also leaves behind former sister-in-law Linda Sacco, nieces Jill Sacco & Claire Stock, cousins Scott (Kathy) Muir, Natalie Muir, and numerous other cousins. Doug will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but perhaps Doug will be missed most by his best friend and loyal companion, Leni, his three-year-old German Shepard. Doug was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, hike, and camp. But Doug’s true passion was helping others both as a devoted volunteer fireman with the Pleasant Hills Fire Department and as a veteran EMT, spending 22 years with Baldwin EMS.
