Edward M. Fiore, 80, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully at home after a tremendous and courageous battle with cancer. Edward was the beloved husband of Audrey Adams Fiore for 56 years. They shared a lifetime of love and compassion. Preceded in death by his parents Edward J. Fiore and Helen Dawida Fiore. Treasured father of Amy A. Garrison and Tinamarie F. Butterfield.

Cherished grandfather of Andrew E. Butterfield (Brenda), Hope M. Butterfield, Nora A. Peters (Colton), Travis R. Butterfield and Faith M. Garrison. Sister, Karen Luffey. Brother-in-law, Edward A. Adams. Sister-in-law, Barbara Adams Meszar. Edward was devoted to his friends and family while spending time with them and partaking in their activities. He retired from Allegheny County Kane Regional Center as the chief of security at the Glen hazel facility. He attended St. Bernard Grade School in Mt. Lebanon and South Hills Catholic in Mt. Lebanon. He was a Member of Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels in Hays. He was a lifetime member of the catholic church and he trusted God and found strength in prayer through his whole life. He received a football scholarship to Toledo University. He coached girls softball in West Mifflin for many years, and was instrumental in obtaining and designing the Camden Hills Complex. He was the assistant football coach for Titans football team at West Mifflin Area Highschool. He spent His younger years playing in a men’s softball league. He enjoyed traveling around the world and particularly loved the beach. He traveled near and far however, his favorite location was family vacations at Ocean City Md. He appreciated attending concerts, sporting events, restaurants, and spur of the moment day trips. He especially relished the time he shared with his cousin, Mike Dawida. There wasn’t a soul he disliked, and made friends with anybody he met; anywhere in the world. He was an extremely special man. Family and Friends will be received at George Irvin Green funeral home Munhall on Monday, August 3rd from 2-8pm. Mass at Holy Angels Parish in Hays on Tuesday, August 4th at 10:30Am.
