Elaine Roth

Elaine Roth, a cherished member of her community and beloved aunt, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on August 29, 1930, in Ohio and built a life filled with laughter, warmth, and countless cherished memories in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.

Elaine dedicated many years to her work in the solutions department at Mesta Machines, where her talents and dedication made a lasting impact. She held a high school diploma and found fulfillment in solving complex challenges within the world of machines. Throughout her career, she earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Elaine was an active member of the Whitaker United Methodist Church, where her faith guided her and shaped her contributions to the community. Known for her kindness and generosity, she extended her love to her family, particularly her nieces: Kathy (Jim) Chance, Barbara Lesko, Sharol (Hans) Lumbantorvan, and Nancy Turner; and many great-grand nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Roth; parents Miles Glotfelty and Edna Glotfelty; and brothers Glenn & Dale Glotfelty. Elaine's spirit will continue to live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared.

Outside of her professional life, Elaine had many passions that brought her joy. She was an excellent baker, often filling her home with the delightful aromas of her creations. She found joy in bowling, refining her skills and cherishing moments spent with friends on the lanes. Crafting was another of her beloved hobbies, where her creativity flourished and provided her with tranquility and inspiration.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, May 18 from 1-3 PM & 5-7 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120, 412-461-6394; where a Funeral Service will take place the following morning, Monday, May 19, at 11 AM with Pastor Karen Burns officiating. Burial will follow.
