Eleanor Jean Stiles

Eleanor Jean Stiles, 78, of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at home with family by her side. Jean is the daughter of the late R.V. “Bus” and Tekla “Effie” (Henrikson) Stiles and was proceeded in death by her brother Robert Stiles and her beloved pets Libbey and Chloe. Jean is survived by her Goddaughter Kim (George) Dailey and her family, as well as many cousins, friends, neighbors, and church community which were very important to her.

Jean retired after 46 years of service from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, walking, canning, pickling, fantasy football, Kennywood Park, Tai Chi, and line dancing. She was a member of Homestead Park United Methodist Church where she planned many gatherings and meals with the ladies group.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street, Munhall (412.461.6394). A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Don Kephart.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Homestead Park United Methodist Church, 4231 Shady Ave, Munhall, PA 15120 in Jean’s memory.
