Elizabeth Jane Skiavo

Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Skiavo, 93, of Whitaker passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Skiavo, daughter of the late Pearl Zugec and Joseph Zugec; Beloved Mother of the late Sandra Skiavo and Linda (Skiavo) Nickel; Mother-in-law of the late Allen Nickel; Sister of the late Gladys (Zugec) Macus; Cherished Grandmother of Bradford Nickel, Christopher (Jackie) Nickel, and Curtis (Lora) Nickel; Great-Grandmother of Jace, Jaxson, and Emerson Nickel; also survived by many nieces & nephews. Betty was a very kind person who always took care of her family for many years. She enjoyed dining out, watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Pittsburgh professional sports, attending her grandchildren‘s sporting events, painting, church bus trips, and spending time with her family. Family & friends will be received on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from  2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10am in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish - St. Therese Church, 1 Saint Therese Court, Munhall, PA 15120.
