Jean Cerra

Jean Cerra, age 99, of Munhall passed away on January 5, 2023. Born in West Homestead; the daughter of the late Glenn Abels and Ruth (Porter) Abels.

Beloved wife of the late Henry "Pip" Cerra; Loving mother of Glenn (Kathleen) Cerra of West Mifflin, Henry (Susan) Cerra of Munhall, the late Linda Fletcher and late Connie Certo (survived Dr. Louis Certo); Cherished grandmother of Paul Jesse (Tara) Fletcher, Elizabeth (Dan) Warner, Samantha (Jed) Theobald, Alessandra (Nate) Browne, Giuliana (Cam) Metz, Salvatore (Macy) Certo, Enrico (Maggie) Certo, Kristin Cerra, Kate Cerra, Michael (Rachel) Cerra and the late Joshua Fletcher; and 18 Great-grandchildren; Dear sister of the late Shirley Juarez and sister-in-law of the late Dorothy Miller.

Jean was long-time parishioner at St. Therese Church in Munhall, where she was a member of the 500 Club. Her greatest joy was being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends and Family will be received on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412-461-6394), where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will take place in Lebanon Church Cemetery in West Mifflin, PA.
