Frank “Pudgie” Delgado, age 77 passed away on October 5, 2026 at Kane Glen Hazel Community Living Center after a long battle of lung cancer. He was born on August 8, 1949 in Homestead to Frank Delgado and Mary Krista Delgado. He is preceded in death by his brother George Delgado, sisters Dolores and Josephine Delgado, nephew Duane Delgado, niece Lydia Delgado. Frank worked for J.A. Battle Company as a construction worker. He went to Schwab Vocational High School for welding and attended Bidwell Training Center for Carpentry. He worked for a Main Delivery Company, Hilton Hotel as a Banquet Assistant, ACME Music Company and as a Field Service Technician for Dick Bazzy. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Frank was a man of many talents. He and his closest friends formed a band called the “End” and he was the drummer. He also was a DJ, loved carpentry work and giving his crafts to the family and friends. He liked to cook seafood and spicy meals. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, family and friends. He loved Latin music, fishing, hunting and sports. His pastime enjoyment was the casinos. He was a very proud Marine Veteran, He will be remembered for his giving heart, stories and love of family and friends. He is survived by brother Raymond Delgado, sisters Frances Delgado and Christine Delgado, daughter Heather Fite, beloved friend Michele Kiehl, loving nieces, nephews and cousins and grandchildren Haley Russo, EJ Laughlin, Logan Laughlin, Sawyer Laughlin, Mallory Laughlin, and great granddaughter Gloria Russo.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8PM with a Blessing Service from 6:00 to 6:30PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 (412-461-6394). Graveside Service with Military Honors will be on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 12 noon in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Main & 22nd Streets in Munhall.
