Garey E. Gamble, age 67, of South Park, passed peacefully at his beloved home with family by his side after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born on July 30, 1955, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Dobra) Gamble, he was born and raised in Munhall PA. Loving father of Tracey Gamble (of South Park) and Lindsey (Michael) Sedota (of Bethel Park) and proud grandfather of Sonnie Drew Sedota. Husband to Susan (Schwartz) Gamble and dear brother to Darlene “Doll” (James) Scalese (of West Mifflin), twin brother Larry (Nancy) Gamble (of West Homestead) and John (Katheen) Gamble (of Atlanta, Georgia). Garey was an uncle to 10 nieces and nephews, as well as, 10 great nieces and nephews. He was employed at US Steel from 1974 to 1981. He retired from Bechtel Bettis after 39 years in 2020, where he worked as an electrician. Garey loved to golf with his many golf buddies, care for his lawn and his home, jog, ride bikes, and most of all spending time with his girls. He was kind, hard-working, and generous and he will be dearly missed.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412)461-6394), where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Tim officiating. In lieu of flowers, Garey's family asks that you consider donating to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, (LBDA), 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Ste. 205
