George Carter

On March 25, 2014, age 94 of Pleasant Hills;

Beloved husband of 71 years to the love of his life Edith Mae Carter (Wulf);

George was a retired clerk for U.S. Steel with 44 years of service, a U.S. Army Air Force WW II Veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Mifflin where he was a deacon;

He is the loving father of Butch (Lorraine) Carter, Lynda (Frank) Logue, Debbie (George) Hunt and the late Charles Carter (wife Bonnie survives);

Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 10 great – grandchildren;

Preceded in death by his 6 siblings;

Friends received Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394).
