George L. Cope

George L. Cope Jr. passed away at his home on October 18, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh on June 14, 1949, son of the late Margaret and George Cope. Loving husband of Susan, his wife of 46 years. Beloved father of Shayna (Mike) and Danielle (Neil). Extra special Pappy of Makayla and Ryan. Much loved brother of Donna (Walt) Hone, Ron (Denise), Rich (Mary) and Liz (Kirk) Gaudin. George was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired member of the local union 373. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He was a proud Pappy and loved spending time with his family and beloved cat, Hunter. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Friends and family received on Saturday, October 26, from 1-3 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, 412-461-6394, where a memorial service will take place at 3 PM with Pastor Joe Stump officiating.
