Geraldine Sweeney

Geraldine Ann Sweeney, age 94, of Munhall passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Born in Pittsburgh; a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Venneri) Cavalier. Beloved wife of the late Regis Sweeney and late Robert Weimer.

Loving mother of Kathy (John) Cannavine, Lorraine (Mickey) Augustine, Linda (Russ) Meyer, Susan (Bob) Meyer, Patricia Pruden and Mary Bazaldua; Cherished grandmother of 16 and great-grandma of 24 and one more on the way.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Lauretta Cavalier.

Gerry was a longtime member of St. Therese Church. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing and crafts. She took many trips with her daughters, making many memories traveling and going on cruise ships.

Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2 - 4 PM & 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412.461.6394). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at      11 AM in St. Therese Church, St. Thomas the Apostles Parish.
