Grace Agnes Basic

Grace Agnes (Lawson) Basic, age 95, passed away on March 26, 2023.  She was married on December 11, 1948 to her late loving husband Frank "Lefty" Basic, Sr.  Loving mother of Frank "Butch" (Darlene) Basic, Jr., of Elizabeth and Sharon (Late Dennis) Liput of McKeesport.  Sister of Frances Lawson, and the late Dorothy (Rudy) Marth and Bill Lawson.  Sister in law of Janet Lawson.  Cherished grandmother of Sean (Jackie) Liput, Tara Phares, Courtney (Ken) Basic, and Brett (Mylena) Basic.  Great grandmother of Corey, Colin, Jaxon, Tyler, Taya, Gavin and Sean.  Great great grandmother of KieRyn.  Grace was a longtime member of Anne Ashley United Methodist Church and longtime employee of the Black and White Market on Main Street.  Friends will be received on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 12 until time of Funeral Service with Pastor Keith Kaufold officiating at 2:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to Anne Ashley United Methodist Church, 334 E. 22nd Avenue, Munhall, PA  15120.  the family would like to give a heart felt "Thank You" to the Vitas Hospice Care especially to her Angels Miranda, Janet and Wendy.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com
