Grace E. Himes (Schultheis)

Grace Elizabeth (Schultheis) Himes, 96, of West Mifflin, passed away August 18, 2022.  She was married to her loving husband, the late Raymond M. Himes, for 58 years; and is survived by her devoted daughters Cindy Himes of Bridgeville and Linda Himes of West Mifflin.  She was born on July 9, 1926 to the late Howard and Ida May Schultheis, of Wilkinsburg.  She was sister to the late Charles and Howard Schultheis; and is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1945. Grace loved trips to Amish country in eastern Pennsylvania and always remembered fondly her vacation to Germany and her many trips to Raymond's Navy LST Reunions.  For many years, she enjoyed attending Penguins hockey games.  Grace adored her family's pet dogs and cats throughout her life.

Friends will be received on Monday August 22, 2022 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394) where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2022 at 11AM.  The inurnment will be on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30PM.  In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to Animal Friends Inc. of Pittsburgh.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com
