Grace Marie Schuetz

Grace Marie Schuetz, age 84, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Born in Homestead, to late parents Edward W. and Winifred M. (Kemp) Asbury on February 7, 1939, Grace was a life long resident of Munhall where she raised a beautiful family with her late husband William S. “Pops” Schuetz. Grace is survived by her beloved daughter Kimberly (Michael “Mick”) Kilyk and brother Edward “Buck” (Alberta) Asbury. Grace also leaves behind a vast and beloved extended family; Chuck (Becky) Olson, Tim (Amy) Olson, Tom (Fiancée Kim) Olson, Jean (Stephen) Fenner, and the late John (survived by wife Tammy) Olson. Grace is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom will miss her dearly. Grace spent many years as a Typesetter for Carnegie Mellon University followed by a storied career as a secretary for Extreme Restoration. Even with age Grace was always one to have fun perhaps best showcased in her love for the Universal Amusement Park and her trips to Glenn Lake, Michigan. Grace was also an animal lover and devoted dog-mom to her fur-babies Buba and Rocco; while elephants were her passion she was known to have loved watching Gaitlyn Rae the monkey on Youtube.  Grace will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her infectious laughter will be remembered by all.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 22 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 ((412)461-6394), where a funeral service will be held the following day, Friday June 23, at 11 AM, with internment to follow.
