On November 16, 2018, age 93 of Pittsburgh formerly of Munhall;

Shirley was born in Munhall the daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Dupont) Wakefield;

She was a former resident of the St. Therese Plaza and a retired employee of the Homestead Carnegie Library’s Athletic Department.

Beloved wife of the late John Connelly;

Cherished mother of Coleen (Scott) Reifman and Debra (Douglas) Wolf;

Loving grandmother of Rachel (Charlie), Brianne, Sean and Ryan;

Preceded in death by her brothers Ches and Wes.

Friends received on Monday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM.
