Helen Devey (Rose)

Helen Devey, age 101, of West Mifflin, died peacefully at home on April 5, 2022.  Born on April 11, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Amy (Maskew) Rose of Liverpool, England.  

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Paul Devey.  She and Paul fell in love shortly after they met in England while he was serving in World War II.  Helen is survived by her children, Donna Balana (Bill Maxim),  William Devey (late Jeanne) and James (Rebecca) Devey.  Grandmother of 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren.  Sister of of Anne Hope and 6 nieces and nephews. 

She was a retired cafeteria manager for West Mifflin School District.  "Nan" enjoyed knitting, going to the casino, and always a good cup of tea!  She was very fun and loving and her family and friends meant everything to her.

Family and friends received Friday from 1 - 4 and 6 - 8PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394)  where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM.
