Helen Hess

Helen M. Hess (Safran) passed away on Sunday December 20, 2020, age 96, of Munhall. She was born in Stoneboro, PA; a daughter of the late Louise (Pointak) and Steven Safran.  Beloved wife of the late William C. Hess; Loving mother Linda Hess, Judith (George) Lewis, Darlene (Jorman) Brown, and Kathleen (Dennis) Keesecker; Cherished grandmother to six: George (Heather) Lewis, Michael (Rachel) Lewis, Matthew (Jen) Lewis, Lynn Brown, Brian (Brittney) Keesecker and Bradley (Christie) Keesecker; and great-grandmother of13: Zachary Lewis, Evan Lewis, Nora Lewis, Alivia Lewis, William Wilson, Adam Keesecker, Kaila Keesecker, Mason Keesecker, Myla Keesecker, Bella Stemple, Noah Stemple, Lydia Keesecker and Levi Keesecker;  Dear sister of  Jean Saltrick. She was preceded in death by brothers Cecil Safran, Joseph Safran Stanley Safran, Robert Safran, Lewis Safran, and sisters Wilma Freeborough and Agnes Kovach.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 22, 2020  from 2 PM to 7 PM at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412) 461-6394. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas the Apostles Parish, St. Therese worship site at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
