In Loving Memory of Henry “Hank” Beringer

Henry “Hank” Beringer, 72, of Munhall, PA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, with his family by his side.

Born on February 18, 1954, in the South Side Slopes, Hank was the beloved son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Beringer. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; stepson, James (Nadine) Nemeth; daughter, Michelle (Gregg) Francis; sisters, Therese (Edward) Kelly and Donna (David) Delbianco; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia (Bill) Mancini.

Hank worked as an engineer for Union Switch & Signal (Ansaldo STS/Hitachi Rail) for 40 years before retiring. He especially enjoyed fishing at the family cabin, bowling, and, of course, burnt hot dogs. An avid sports fan, Hank cheered on his favorite professional teams and proudly supported his daughter and her many teams over the years.

Hank was the problem-solver of the family—the one everyone could call when something needed to be fixed, figured out, or sorted out. He was a devoted dog lover and also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, on Thursday, October 1, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 2, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish – St. Therese Church Worship Site.
