Herb was born in Pittsburgh the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Grosser) Strobel;

He was a retired steelworker from J & L Steel Southside Works;

Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Rusko) Strobel;

Loving father of Raymond (Teresa), Bonnie (Robert) Schiavone and Herbert (Sarah) Strobel Jr;

Cherished grandfather of Raymond Jr., Barbara, Nicolette, Nicholas, Samantha, Tommaso, Santino, Adelina and Sophia;

Brother of Raymond (Susie), Patricia (the late Tom) Trent, Margaret (Armand) Panka, Richard (Dee), George, Andrew (Darlene), Johanna (Charles) Fey and the late Donald and Donna

Brother in law of the late Casey and Michael;

Friends received on Monday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394).  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Therese Church, Munhall.
