Irene Revak

Irene Rose Revak (Balla) on Thursday July 16, 2020, age 87, of West Mifflin formerly of Munhall;

She was born on March 28, 1933 in Homestead; a daughter of the late John and Rose (Hallas) Balla.

Beloved wife of the late George E. Revak Jr.;

Loving mother of Cynthia (Damon) DeLuca and Mark (Patty) Revak;

Cherished grandmother of Jarrett (Rachel) DeLuca, Jeffrey (Fiancée Allison Rice) DeLuca, Jonathan (Gabriella) DeLuca, and Mark Revak Jr. and 1 great-granddaughter: Evelyn Marie DeLuca.

Dear sister of the late Ted Balla. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Irene was a longtime member of the First Hungarian Reform Church of Homestead where she sang in the choir, was a devoted church worker and a member of the Friendship Circle.  She was a retired Administrative Assistant for Homestead and Jefferson Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the Valley Voices Choir. She enjoyed cooking, going to the Casino and to her camp.

Irene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 ( 412-461-6394 ) where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Homestead Park United Methodist Church (Shady Ave in Munhall) at 10:00 AM with Pastor Brian Hart officiating.
