James Jason Bishop

Jim, 61, of West Mifflin, formerly of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Chalfant) Bishop. He was the beloved husband of Wendy (Wahrenberger). Proud and loving father of Jake and Joy Bishop, loving brother and brother-in-law of Ron (Janice) Bishop of McKeesport and Sandy (late Harold) Fozard of White Oak, Thomas (Jo Ann) Wahrenberger and Todd (Charity) Wahrenberger. Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Jim was a painter for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for over 40 years. He was an avid hometown sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Steelers and attending Pirate baseball games as well as professional wrestling. Jim ran the Great Race in 1979, was a body builder, and loved doing artwork. His greatest love was his children and his family.

Jim will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 2 PM until the time of the service at 5:30PM with Dr. Rev. John Smith officiating.
