James Bittner

James L. Bittner, age 58, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Born in West Mifflin; a son of Antoinette "Toni" (Ramsey) and the late Walter "Chub" J. Bittner.

Loving brother of Christopher J. Bittner of Dravosburg, Walter J. Bittner Jr. of Dayton, OH, Amy Raymond of South Park and Sandra Taylor of Florida;

Cherished uncle of Haven (Tyler Brakeall) Bittner and great-uncle of Isabella Bittner Brakeall; also survived by cousins and many friends.

James was a volunteer at Jefferson Hospital on the stroke unit floor and The Pittsburgh Zoo. He was an avid traveler. He enjoyed photography, The Wilds in Ohio and above all, his greatest love was for his family.

Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412-461-6394), where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Keith Kaufold officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made in James' memory to The Pittsburgh Zoo.
