Peacefully, on January 15, 2018, age 75, of Eldercrest Nursing Center formerly of Lawrenceville and Overbrook. Son of the late Walter B. Cywinski and Helen (Chmielewski) Cywinski; loving brother of Elizabeth Whiteman and Joseph S. Cywinski. Preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph Whiteman. James retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Mellon Bank, the Duquesne Incline, and Walmart. Friends received on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the GREEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES OF LINCOLN PLACE, 1222 Muldowney Ave., 412-464-4377 where a funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in James' name may be made to the Lincoln Place Church of the Nazarene.
