James William Krausslach, age 70, of Lincoln Place passed away suddenly on October 28, 2022.
Born in Pittsburgh; a son of the late James William Krausslach Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Lopata).
Beloved husband of 48 years to Barbara Ann (Rudolph); Dear brother-in-law of Mary Ellen (Don) Mey, Diane Rudolph, and Marsha (Fred) Boehm; loving uncle and great-uncle to many. Jim also leaves behind his three cats; PK, PC, and Glisten who will miss him dearly.
Jim was graduate of CCAC, he had Associates Degrees in Mechanics, Drafting as well as Landscape & Architecture. He was a hard-working craftsmanship who used many mediums in his projects. He was a woodworker making cabinets and coffins and a welder. He had 23 machines in his shop. He was a self-employed landscaper working on many homes in the community. One of his biggest projects and that brought him the most joy was making Soapbox Derby Cars. He and Barbara have been involved in the Greater Pittsburgh Soapbox Derby for many years.
A Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Arrangements are entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc.
