Janet Papp

On January 10, 2015, age 72, of North Huntingdon.

Janet was the beloved and cherished daughter of the late Stephen J. and Elizabeth (Janocsko) Papp.

Janet will be greatly missed by her sister, Patricia (David) Grosser; she was a loving and devoted aunt to her nephews, David S. (Lisa) Grosser and Daniel R. (Elaine) Grosser, who will be greatly saddened by their loss.

Janet was employed by MESTA Corporation and was a retiree of Mellon National Bank.

Although Janet succumbed to the ravages of diabetes, she blessed others with her upbeat personality and positive outlook. When asked how she was doing, she always replied with a lilt in her voice that she was doing great.

Janet greatly enjoyed animals and pets and loved looking at her bird feeder and the many varieties of birds that came to feed. She received awards for her bowling acumen and thoroughly enjoyed bowling with her teammates.

The family would like to thank the staff at Briarcliff Pavilion for their loving and kind treatment of Janet. She thought of them as family. Thank you. Sincere thanks to Dr. David Harinstein for his care and compassion to Janet.

Visitation will be on Monday from 2-6 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, PA 15120 (412-461-6394). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Christ the Light of the World Parish, Holy Name Worship Site, in Duquesne.
