Janice V Johnston(Moiseenko)Birth date March 21, 1945. Proceeded in death by father Joseph Moiseenko, mother Martha Moiseenko and brother Dale Moiseenko. Wife of the late Kenneth (Snooky)Johnston. Survived by daughters Robin Strong, leanne McDonough and Lisa Johnston, grandchildren-Jessie McDonough, Josh Johnston and Shannon McDonough-sisters
Joyce Joyce and Georgia Ballas. Many nieces and nephews. And her dearest friend Jeannie Vargo.
Janice was known as Mom, Aunt Jannie and Grannie.
Janice was a Christian who believed in and experienced the miracles of God's grace. She had a one of kind laugh and incredibly sweet and generous heart. She could be stern when necessary. She threatened her grandchildren with "fireworks" when they misbehaved in public.
She was a protective mother who would do anything for her children.
She and her grandson Josh had and will always have a particularly special bond.
She would drop whatever she was doing to bake a pumpkin pie for her daughters, crepes for her nieces and nephews or sew something for her grandkids. Her pumpkin pie was the best! She passed on those baking skills to her youngest daughter Lisa who now makes the best lady locks. She had a love for personalized jewelry and always gifted her daughters and granddaughters with their birthstones. She was a fighter who had a very positive outlook on life which can be seen in her middle daughter Leanne. One of the most accurate ways to describe her is caregiver. She was always taking care of someone and her loved ones were blessed for that while she was here on earth. She was blessed to have her oldest daughter Robin care for in her final days before God called her home with him.
Rest in Peace.
We will miss you.
We celebrate the full life you lived and all you gave the world.
