Jerry Kalbaugh, Jr.

Jerry Kalbaugh, Jr., 60, of Munhall, Son of Marlyn McNickel Kalbaugh of Pittsburgh and the late Jerry Kalbaugh, Sr.  Loving husband of Christy Robson Kalbaugh.  Amazing father of Amanda and Corey Crevar and the most adoring “Papa” of Hadley and Lilah Crevar. His “girls” were his absolute pride and joy. 

Brother of Tracey (Randy) Frank and Kelly Kalbaugh. Brother in law of Regis (Jennifer) Robson, Jeannine (Edward) Yunk , the late Judy Mendicino, Amy Singer, Tom, David, and Brian Robson. Uncle to many nieces and nephews whom he loved as if they were his own children and grandchildren. 

He was loved by so many for his great sense of humor, his kindness, and his culinary skills. Jerry was best known as The Carpet Man and owned and operated an independent carpet business locally for many years.  He was most recently employed by Whistler Construction Company to whom his family is  extremely grateful for their extreme kindness and support during his trying battle with brain cancer.  

He will be sadly missed by so many wonderful friends who supported him  though his difficult journey and for whom we are extremely grateful. A special thank you to Emerita Gonzales, his caregiver and friend for her loving, compassionate care. 

A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Therese Worship Site with Fr. Nicholas Mastrangelo officiating.

In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to Reflections of Grace Foundation in support of children and their families affected with brain cancer and its research.
