Jerry W. Snyder, a beloved member of his community and a cherished family man, passed away on December 28, 2025, at his home in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Born on November 26, 1958, in Homestead, Pennsylvania, Jerry's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and hometown.

Jerry enjoyed a fulfilling career as a material handler for Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he was known for his reliability and diligence. Following his retirement, he found purpose in pursuing his hobbies, which included woodworking and home renovations. He had a particular passion for gardening, and the beauty of his outdoor space reflected his nurturing spirit. Jerry also loved the holiday season, delighting in decorating for Christmas and creating a warm and festive environment for his family.

An avid sports enthusiast, Jerry was deeply devoted to his hometown teams—the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and especially the Penguins. Game days were filled with excitement and camaraderie as he cheered passionately for his teams, sharing those moments with family and friends who appreciated his spirited nature.

Above all, Jerry treasured the time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" (Ballas) Snyder, and a proud father to his son, Benjamin (Marla) Snyder. He is also survived by his sisters Cheryl and his sister-in-law Cathy, his sister-in-law Susan (Brian), his sister-in-law Monica (Bart), and his brother-in-law Danny (Krissy). Jerry leaves behind nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and generosity.

He is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Nora (Zembower) Snyder, and his sister Elma, who will be welcoming him in eternal rest.
