John “Jack” Obringer

John "Jack" William Obringer, age 69, of Lincoln Place passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

John is survived by his three beloved daughters: Sarah Obringer-Kitchen (Michael), Kristin Alex (Brian), and Johnette Obringer (Christopher Matchen); his loving grandchildren: Riley Wirth, Kaylee Kitchen, Addison Kitchen, Jason Alex, Austin Alex, Scarlet Obringer; and step-grandchildren: Kyler Matchen, Pyper Matchen, and Mykal Matchen; also survived by his longtime best friend, Robert "Flash" Soder, the mother of his children, Donna Ptaszkiewicz, as well as, his extended family and numerous friends. 

John enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and was an avid fisherman. He was a car enthusiast from racing to classic, he enjoyed it all. His favorite past-time was making memories with his family at their camp in Canadohta Lake. Above all what he truly lived for the most, was spending time with his girls and being "PappyO" to his adoring grandchildren.

Family & friends will be received on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 2 PM - 8 PM in the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall (412-461-6394). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11 AM in the Funeral Home.
